Best Portrait Studio In Charlotte, NC - 4 Lessons Learned.

Charlotte Image Photography is a 20 plus year old business. We have found this fact alone has provided a lot of credibility. However, we are not dependent on seniority in todays market place.  The portrait world has taken many drastic changes,... think forms of zig zags vs. smooth rolling waves.  During the changing times, a question that we often receive is "How does your family portrait studio stay inspired and thriving?".

We have found there is not one thing or a magic button, despite what Staples may show, that has lead us down this path. What we can say is there are the lessons we've learned can be applied to any one in any field.

1. Stay true to yourself.
Family portraits is what we know, its what we love, and it is the foundation of our business.  Every decision we make revolves around our true focus; our families and how our decisions would effect them. Children portraits, senior portraits, and even our business portraits are influenced by this concept.

2.  Seek Inspiration.
We have 5 senses, use them. Listen to people in your field, read articles, try out new tools (for us, that might be photography equipment or techniques), and take a friend out to lunch for some quality food and conversation.

3. Value Family.
Stephen, owner of Charlotte Image Photography, has a wonderful wife and three incredible kids. As a parent, he understands the value of preserving memories. On another token, your family offers a different perspective on your profession. Although it may not be their field of expertise, family can shed some light on a challenge or an idea as a neutral 3rd party.

4. Learn to have fun.
When you bring happiness into your life, it spills over onto everything thing you do. We've adopted the philosophy "work hard, play hard" and we mean it! Traveling is our marketing coordinators love. Whether it is an adventure 30 minutes from here, or exploring the coast of Maine, doing something fun brings joy back into her everyday routines.
