Just a week ago as a nation, we honored all of the living and deceased veterans who have served our country with honor and courage. Every day, our active service men and women continue in those veterans footsteps as they make untold sacrifices defending the ideals we hold dear.
They sacrifice the safety of being within our borders, the comfort of home and much, much precious time with their families - for many its months or even years on end and all the while their children grow and change during that absence.
Many will spend the upcoming holidays with their units in the field, unable to be with the spouses and children they love so much. Of all the things you might send your military spouse, son, daughter, mother, father or friend, in their Holiday package this year, the one thing you know they want most is their family. The next best thing to family being with them is the image of that family waiting patiently and lovingly for their safe return.
