You Get What You Pay For!

"What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly. It is dearness only that gives everything its value."

- Thomas Paine -

We've all been tempted to scrimp and buy the cheaper version of something, especially in the last few years as the recession has taken it's toll on all of us. But how many times have you done that and been disappointed in the end, wishing you had gone with the higher quality version despite the higher cost? Probably a lot.

The same is true for your portrait needs. When you see ads for $9.95 8x10 portraits at the photography chain or the big box stores, it can be so tempting. But what do you get for your $9.95? A high quality, original portrait that tells your own story? It's doubtful that the person behind that lens has the experience, the know-how, or the right tools to achieve the image you're looking for.
So what happens. You acquire the cheap portrait and it's not what you expected so it ends up in a drawer or worse yet, on your walls but bothers you every time you look at it.

However, if you are willing to spend a little more time and money by engaging a credentialed photography professional, the resulting portrait will be something you truly value for now and for the rest of your life. Do you think it is too expensive for you to go that route? Then it might surprise you to know that you can acquire an 8x10 portrait print at Charlotte Image Photography with an investment of less than $100.

Whether you need an executive, engagement, bridal, or family portrait, browse our photography gallery and you'll see that the difference in quality far exceeds the difference in price.
